OGAE Israel will hold this week its annual convention before the Eurovision Song Contest, this time in a different concept and will also be open to the wide Eurovision fans crowd in Israel.
This Thursday, May 4th, OGAE Israel will hold its annual meeting before the Eurovision Song Contest. The meeting is also the occasion of the club's 18th anniversary. The convention will be held in a completely different concept this time. Alon Pratt, president of OGAE Israel says: 'This year we invite all the Israeli Eurovision fans to come and celebrate with us the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest. Non members are warmly invited to participate in the event. Guests will also have the opportunity to join the club. If they chose to do so, their entrance fee to the event will be deducted from the membership fee'.
During the convention, as in every year, the guests will vote for their favourite songs in this year's Eurovision Song Contest and for the Israeli entry to the OGAE'sSecond Chancecontest.Other activities are also planned, as mentions Roi Yechezkel, chairman of the club: 'We will have special guests participating in this meeting such as Eddie Butler, Israel's entrant this year. Butler will most lieklypresent,for the first time, the new version and video clip ofhis entry.The 'Diamondz', who came second in this year's Kdam-Eurovision will also participate and perform'.
