After a small research done by ESCTODAY, the viewing rates of the Eurovision Song Contest could be around 160 million people.
However there aren't any official statistics of the number of viewers for the Eurovision Song Contest, last year's television rates were between 100 and 120 million viewers.
It's expected that the popularity of Rosa in Spain might attract more viewers. However countries like the Netherlands, Ireland and Norway don't participate, it's expected that the television rates will be as high as usual for the contest.
The Eurovision Song Contest can be viewed in the USA on the Spanish channel TVE and in Australia the contest will be broadcasted a day later by SBS. In Japan, the contest is very popular and will be broadcasted too.
After all, around (approximately) 160 million people will watch the contest, while more than a billion people from Europe, the USA, Japan and Australia can see the contest on tv.
