The BBC are now recruiting their back-up jury for the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest. Although the country participates with the other 36 countries this year in a public televote to determine how the United Kingdom will award their points, all countries have a back-up jury in case the televoting procedure fails. They are inviting people to apply for places on the jury via their refreshed Eurovision Song Contest website.

The BBC Eurovision Song Contest pages can be found at www.bbc.co.uk/eurovision. From there you will be able to find the link to register as a potential back-up jury member.

Jury members will need to be available in London on Thursday 18th May and Saturday 20th May. They will watch the dress rehearsals and the broadcasts of the semi final and grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest and cast their votes.

The BBC site also features the BBC's Eurovision Song Contest coverage schedule, some fun interactive areas, information and competitions.
