Slovenia and the Eurovision Song Contest
Out of 106 entries, a jury selected 14 songs for a national selection on 29th of January. Although Sasa Lendero received the maximum amount of points from the televoters, the jury didn't give her a single point. The televoters' runners-up Atomik Harmonik didn't get points from the jury either, so the jury's favourite won the ticket to Athens with his Plan B., later to be translated into Mr. Nobody.
An�ej De�an
An�ej De�an was born in 1987 in Celje. In 2004 he took part in the talent scout Spet doma, where only Omar Naber managed to stay ahead. He would later represent Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest (2005). After two singles, C�est la vie and Vroce, An�ej became backing vocal for Nusa Derenda (Slovenia 2001) in the national selection. In 2006 he took part himself and we all know how that story developed!
