Annet Artani, who will represent Cyprus in this year's Eurovision Song Contest, kicks off her European promotional tour today in Malta. She has a very tight schedule on leading radio and tv stations around the island.
Annet Artani is the second artist from this year's Eurovision Song Contest who chose Malta as one of her destinations in her European promotional tour. Slovenian entry singer, Anzej Dezan was the main guest in Malta's national final last February.
Annet Artani will appear on various radio and tv stations, she will give interviews to local newspapers and Eurovision Song Contest related websites. Thanks to the collaboration with Maltasong, Annet will be the main guest of Eurovision Fever on Super One Tv (Wednesday at 21:20 CET) and will give an extensive interview to Eurovision Radio on Super One Radio (Tuesday at 20:30 CET). Both shows are co-ordinated by local Eurovision fan club, Ogae Malta. Club members will also have the opportunity to meet the singer personally.
Annet will also appear on various other shows on Net Tv and TVM amongst others. A report about Annet's visit in Malta will follow.
Because of Cyprus' disappointing result, last year, Annet Artani has to first qualify from the semifinal round of the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest, on 18th May in Athens.
