According to esckaz.com, a final will be held on 15th March after the triple draw of the Moldovan final on 25th February.
Burlacu Geta, Serj Kuzencoff and Moldstar shared a first place after televoters and a jury (50/50) gave their points on the Moldovan final held on 25th February. Facing this situation, the youngest jury member didn't want to make a decision to choose the winner.
Thus, the organizing comittee decided to run an additional round of preselection for the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held on 15th March, in the studio of the national Moldovan broadcaster TRM.
Any interested performers are allowed to submit their applications till 14th March to the TRM, including those artists who didn't participate in the first preselection rounds.
Thanks to Zdob si Zdub's excellent result in Kyiv, Moldova takes part in the final of the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest, on 20th May in Athens.
