Eurovision fans will get the opportunity to attend the 2006 Festival da Canção show, which is going to select the Portuguese song for the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest. It is the first time RTP has offered tickets especially to Eurovision fans.
The Portuguese Broadcasting company RTP is offering tickets to all Eurovision Song Contest fans, who want to attend the Portuguese national selection Festival da Canção.
All interested people must contact the Portuguese branch of OGAE (Organisation Générale des Amateurs de l'Eurovision) at [email protected] or visit their website. It's the first time RTP has offered tickets especially to Eurovision fans.
Meanwhile, some corrections have been made concerning the titles of the 10 songs taking part at the 2006 Festival da Canção on 10th March at Lisbon congress centre. The list of the songs and performers is as follows:
1 – Um dia direi – Bruno Nicolau
2 – Alma nova – Lara Afonso
3 – Na noite és tu e eu – Madison Lucia
4 – Bem mais além – MariaFolia
5 – Nunca mais te digo adeus – Ricardo Moraes
6 – Sei quem sou (Portugal) – Vânia Oliveira
7 – Durmo com pedras na cama – Natalie Insoandé
8 – Coisas de nada – Nonstop
9 – O amor é uma fonte – Beto
10 – As minhas guitarras – Cuca
Because 2B came 17th with 51 points in Kyiv, Portugal has to enter the semi final of the 51st Eurovision Song Contest.
