As reported before, Vicky Leandros, Thomas Anders and Texas Lightning are in the running to win the German ticket to the 51st Eurovision Song Contest. Apart from presenting the songs they hope to take to Athens, the three candidates will also try to impress the voters by interpreting a classic Eurovision Song Contest entry. NDR hasn�t yet indicated which classic each artist will sing, but clips of their entries are available online!

Portraits of the three contestants will be aired through NDR on 28th February, 1st and 2nd March.
During the German selection, on 9th March, several big artists will perform, such as Lys Assia, the Olsen Brothers, Wind, Dana International, Brotherhood of Man, Corinna May, Mary Roos, Joy Fleming, Ingrid Peters, Nicole and Lou.
