Belarus picks top-three tonight

Tonight, it's up to the Belarussian audience to pick the best three songs during the national selection for the 51st Eurovision Song Contest. Although fans and journalists have their doubts about the next step in the selection, BT will again select the winning song internally out of the three songs chosen by the public.

In two or three weeks, an internal commission will pick the song they consider the best one to represent Belarus in the semifinal of the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest. The participants in running order;

01. Prima Vera – I can see the rising sun
02. Dali – Europe's heart's groove
03. Janet – Mysterious logic
04. Helena Grishanova – You can't stop this dance
05. Gosia Andrzejewicz – Dangerous game
06. Alexandra Gaiduk – An a-class face
07. Lyavony – Come back
08. Tyana – You never know
09. Dmitry Koldun – May bе
10. Gunesh Abasoba – Connect the hearts
11. Lesya Kodush – Baby-sitter
12. Irina Dorofeeva – Vyshita Sorochka (The shift is stitched)
13. Litesound – My faith
14. Ruslan Musvidas & Svetlana Vezhnovets – Proch s glaz (Out of sight)
15. Polina Smolova – Sait odinochestva (Site of loneliness)

Because of the opening ceremony of the Olympic winter games in Torino, the selection starts at 17:15 CET already. The three 'winners' are likely to be known around 19:00 CET.
