Ines, who earlier represented Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest back in 2000, is one of the main favourites in a poll made by newspaper Eesti Päevaleht. She will perform her song Iseendale 4th in Eurolaul 2006, to be held this Saturday in the studios of Estonian Television (ETV).

Singers Silvi Vrait, Evelin Samuel (Estonia 1999), Liisi Koikson, Koit Toome (Estonia 1998) and music businessman Arne Valmis consider Ines the best to represent Estonia this year in Athens. Only singer, composer and music teacher Kersti Kuusk thinks Open up your heart, performed by Sofia Rubina, should represent Estonia.

Most of the musicians didn't approve the organisers decision to let four wildcard songs to enter the competition. “Honestly, I didn't see much difference in skills and quality. And I don't see a reason why we should favour some composers to the others. If they are good, they would have got to the final anyway”, claimed a singer Koit Toome.

Only the singer Silvi Vrait expressed that the ordered songs were a bit better from the others. “With them it's sure that no exceptions in quality is made. For example Mikk Targo has always songs with very good energetics”, Vrait explained.
