The winner of the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest, Ruslana, gave a charity concert in Khmelnytskyj.
Ruslana performed the charity concert in Khmelnytskyj. Notwithstanding the over-tight schedule in connection with the video shooting and new project preparations, Ruslana fulfilled her charity mission with all responsibility and concern. The audience could enjoy a full scale live show with pyrotechnics, dancers and musicians. All the raised funds were granted to a charity fund Myloserdia to finance building of an asylum for homeless children.
Video shooting for Ruslana's new single
Spectacular stunts, outstanding effects, stunning new outfit – all these you will see in Ruslana's new video for the new single with the provisional title: Hey, go with me. The video was directed by reknown Ukrainian director Alan Badoev.
After weeks of intensive preparation the video shooting was finalized. Scaled decorations of a “future city” were constructed at Kiev Dovzhenko film studio. The crew involved 100 leading East European specialists. World famous show producer and light artist Professor Gerd Hof from Germany took care of the special light effects. Like no other in this world Hof creates artwork out of light. He illuminated the Akropolis, Athens, created the Millenium events in Bejing and Berlin and the unique light shows of Rammstein. Besides Ruslana's dance group Zhyttja no less than 25 professional actors were committed to provide the story-line around Ruslana's performance. The screenplay required Ruslana to “fly” and conduct other amazing stunts all by herself. The new video clip will lead us into the world of Ruslana's new project, which will include a spectacular new show, a brand new album and other grand elements to watch out for this year.
