Renars Kaupers and his band Brainstorm are working on a soundtrack for the cartoon Lotte from the inventors' village. The songs are currently being recorded.

Lotte from the inventors' village is a 75-minute long animated film made in cooperation with Latvian and Estonian animators. The project is financially supported by the European foundation Eurimages. Estonia is represented by Joonisfilm, but studio Rija is responsible for the Latvian share in the project.

The cartoon is a story about Estonian children and a dog called Lotte. The film is suitable for all ages and is going to have Latvian and Estonian versions, which explains why Renars Kaupers recently tried to sing Estonian for the first time in his life!

The work on the project is almost finished. The world premier is planned on 25th August in Riga, the Estonian audience will have to wait until 1st September.

Brainstorm ended up third at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2000, but lead singer Renars Kaupers hosted the 2003 Eurovision Song Contest in Riga, as well as Congratulations in Copenhagen.
