In the second heat of Eurosong 2006, seven participants again competed for three semifinal tickets. After all four juries and the televoters gave their points, Barbara Dex, Roxane and Afi qualified for the semifinals. Barbara Dex, singing a Once in a lifetime-kind of song tonight, represented Belgium at the 1993 Eurovision Song Contest with Iemand als jij.
