After Conny Vandenbos and Christopher Price the world of Eurovision lost another respected person. Pierre Rapsat, who represented Belgium in 1976 with 'Judie et Cie', died last Saturday in Verviers at the age of 56. He suffered cancer.
In the last years of his life, Rapsat was chief of the 'Francofolies de Spa', an annual music festival for French music.
After his appearance on the Eurovision stage, Rapsat became a respected artist in Wallonia, the French speaking part of Belgium. Last year he brought out his last album.
