Tzipi Mash'hid joins the shortlist of the Israeli national final Kdam-Eurovision, to be held on March 15th.

After Avi Greinik, who was initially supposed to participate in the 2006 Kdam-Eurovision in Israel, withdrew last week from the contest, the IBA chose his substitute yesterday: Tzipi Mash'hid.
Mash'hid participated in the second season of Kohav Nolad (Israel's Star Academy) and is now a protege of Betzal'el Alony, who was for years the personal manager of the legendary singer Ofra Haza (Israel 1983).

The 2006 Kdam-Eurovision will be held in the Neve-Ilan Studios in Jerusalem, on March 15th. IBA claims to be negotiating with one of Israel's most famous celebrities, Yael Bar-Zohar, to be the presenter of the show.
