According to OGAE Poland, represented with two people in TVP's internal selection committee, Anabel Conde submitted the song Sappho for the national selection, Piosenka dla Europy. Sappho is written by Rafael Artesero.
Anabel represented Spain at the 1995 Eurovision Song Contest with the song Vuelve conmigo, which ended up second in 1995, right behind Secret Garden's Nocturne.
TVP also received songs from Finland, Sweden and the Netherlands.
The internal commission is currently selecting the 15 entries for the Polish 2006 Eurovision Song Contest national selection.
