Emmelie de Forest, who is representing Denmark in the first semi-final with her song Only teardrops has revealed some details of the staging for her performance in Malmö.

Emmelie has decided to keep her performance on 14 May similar to what she had when she won the Melodi Grand Prix in Herning, Denmark in January. Since the performance that won her the chance to take part in Eurovision 2013 was so popular, she says it would be a shame to change it. The new version of the performance will be simplified to fit into the stage in Malmö, but will keep many of the elements of the original performance.

Niclas Bendixen, who is the stage director for Emmilie’s performance has described her as being a vibrant bundle of energy, so is restraining from giving her too much choreography, to give her the freedom to perform the song naturally.

Only teardrops is also now available as a free ringtone from here.
