Fotini Giannoulatou said that tickets for next year's Eurovision Song Contest in Athens will go on sale in January. An exact amount of tickets is unknown yet, prices will depend on the amount of available tickets and the location of the seat.
ERT emphasises that it's not possible to reservate tickets yet, as there are simply no tickets available yet. As soon as details about the ticket sales becomes available, esctoday.com will of course report it to you! The host broadcaster of next year's contest confirmed tickets will at least be sold through the internet.
The 2006 Eurovision Song Contest takes place in the Olympic Indoor Hall, part of the OAKA complex. The venue is situated right next to the Olympic stadium and has a capacity of approximately 16,000 seats. The semifinal is scheduled for 18th May, the final for 20th May, 2006.
