As we have heard, the postcards shown before each entry at the Eurovision Song Contest in May in Malmö are going to go back to where the artists live rather than promote the host country, as has been the case many times.

There will however be a comedy insert making fun of the Swedes themselves, written by comedians Fredrik Lindström (b, 1963) and Felix Herngren (b. 1967).

They will try to show what makes Sweden special in Europe by the means of self-irony for the 100 million viewers tuning in.

The Executive Producer Martin Österdahl says he is very happy to work with the creative team from FLX, who is producing the inserts.

With Felix and Fredrik we are guaranteed to have comedy of an international standard, he concludes.
