The 39-year old Dutchman Gert van der G., who stalked former ABBA singer Agnetha Fältskog for several years, is back. Neighbours of the Agnetha saw the man in her garden.
Van der G. is 'in love' with Agnetha since he was 8 years old. He even moved to Sweden and bought a house near the singer's place. For a short period of time, Agnetha and Gert had a relationship, which she ended after two years. Van der G. continued to stalk her by writing letters, calling and moving around her house.
Swedish court forbid the man to be in Sweden for two years, back in 2000. In 2003 and 2004 he was arrested again.
To the Swedish newspaper Expressen, Agnetha Fältskog said that the come-back of her stalker brought her phsycological damage.
Saturday, ABBA won the all-time favourite Eurovision Song Contest show Congratulations. Their 1974 entry Waterloo received 329 points.
