Amra Nadarevic from Tuzla, Bosnia & Herzegovina
Congratulations! The Congratulations package will come to Tuzla as soon as the DVDs are released, somewhere in the first week of November. The package also contains the two double albums ánd an exclusive 50 years Eurovision Song Contest t-shirt!
About 1970
Only 12 countries participated in 1970. Norway, Sweden, Finland and Portugal boycotted the contest because they were not happy with the four winning countries a year before and the voting system used. It was a little insecure if the Eurovision Song Contest had a future, but the Dutch organisation did a good job. During the dress rehearsal the stage collapsed, but during the live broadcasting everything went well. Ireland won the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time, partly because Belgium gave them 9 points out of 10.
