The German band Münchener Freiheit, who represented Germany in the 1993 Eurovision Song Contest, will release a 'Best of' album, called Alle Jahre – alle Hits (All the years – all the hits) on 24th October. The album consists of two CDs containing all their singles since 1981 until today.
Münchener Freiheit were founded in 1981 and became one of the most succesfull German bands in the 1980s. In 1993 they were chosen internally to represent Germany in Millstreet with the song Viel zu weit (Much too far) where they only finished 18th. The double CD includes no less than 39 songs starting with their first single Zeig mir die Nacht (Show me the night) and ending with their latest single Du bist das Leben (You are life), which appeared on September 30th. Moreover, they are going to launch a new live DVD. In 2006 they will go on tour through Germany.
