Guildo Horn, one of the most famous German representatives in the Eurovision Song Contest, has released his 'Best of' album on September 30th. There you can find his best-known songs as well as his Eurovision Song Contest entry from 1998.

Back in 1998, Guildo Horn made the Eurovision Song Contest in Germany interesting again. After years of low viewing ratings, more than 12 million viewers came in front of their TV screens to watch his uncommon performance of Guildo hat euch lieb in Birmingham. The song was written by Stefan Raab, who would represent Germany two years later with Wadde hadde dudde da? in Stockholm. Guildo Horn's eccentric character was well discussed in Germany, despite that he won the German national final in 1998 with 61% of the votes in the final round. The song was the first German entry for 15 years to reach the Top 10 of the single charts.
