Dutch broadcaster NOS announced the national final for 2003 will be held at March 1 next year. This year, the Netherlands has to stay home due to disappointing results last year.
Dutch newspaper AD wrote that Loes Luca (picture) will host the show instead of Paul de Leeuw, who hosted the Nationaal Songfestival since 1993. A reason for the host swich was not given.
Loes Luca hosted the 'surpise party' for the Dutch royal wedding between Prince Willem-Alexander and Maxima Zorreguieta and is known by many as comedienne.
The Nationaal Songfestival will be held in the same venue as last year, the Ahoy stadium in Rotterdam.
