The Swedish National Television (SVT) informed today through their official website that a TV crew is currently traveling across Europe to film the clip of a remix version of last year’s Eurovision winning song to be shown during one of the live shows in May.The video clip will present local people from various countries singing Euphoria in their national distinctive way.
Loreen’s Euphoria won last year’s Eurovision Song Contest for Sweden and became one of the most successful winning songs of the last decades. Therefor, the organizers of the current edition of Europe’s favorite TV show decided to send a crew to shoot a special video clip in which various people from all across the continent sing a remix version of the song in their national distinctive way.
For example, the scene filmed in Ireland presents a group of musician performing Euphoria in a pub. The video clip will be aired during one of the three live shows of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest to be held on 14, 16 and 18 May in Malmö, Sweden.
The single Euphoria topped the official music charts of fourteen European countries including Austria, Belgium (Flanders), Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Norway, Russia, Slovakia, Sweden and Switzerland.
