Currently over 650 journalists have registered for the ESC 2002 which is far more than for any Estonian media event ever.
The organizers excpect about 1000 journalists to the end of May.
The most currently accredited journalists are from Germany – 100, Spain – 96, UK – 17, Sweden – 63.
32 countries have accredited their journalists.Some journalists are even from such countries like Gaana, Sri Lanka and the Republic of South-Africa.
First time in the ESC history the whole process of accreditation is on the Internet.
