Latvian national broadcaster LTV will hold a logo competition for children up to 15 years, to find a new logo and name for the national Junior Eurovision Song Contest selection. The submissions will be exhibited in the Juras Varti venue, on the day the national selection takes place.

Earlier this week, 2005 Eurovision Song Contest singers Walters & Kazha revealed to esctoday.com they will host the Latvian national selection for this year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
The Latvian national final takes place on 17th September in Ventspils, which also is the location for the national Eurovision Song Contest selections Eirodziesma. Last year, the Latvian representatives Martins and his friends from C-Stones Juniors ended shared last with only 3 points.
