After one minute, Gülseren's song Rimi rimi ley suddenly got mixed with the Moldovan entry Boonika bate toba, for about 25 seconds. “TRT is aware of the technical problems which occured during the performance of the Turkish song which could be heard all over Europe” Berna Batmaz of TRT said to esctoday.com earlier.

After investigation of the contest's Reference Group, it appeared that one audio channel caused the problem as it was opened for 15% of its maximum. The Reference Group decided not to connect any concequences to the problem.

Turkish representative Gülseren finished 13th in the final of the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest.
