Following Chiara's success at the recent Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, where she finished second with the song Angel, her new album Here I am is about to be launched on the Vodafone Stand at the Farsons Great Beer Festival in Malta on Sunday 31st July 2005.

Two years in the making, after signing to Bridge Productions, this album is set to break all landmarks so far achieved by Chiara. Under the technical direction of Howard Keith, the album is packed with 15 powerful ballads that have been written by some of the world's best songwriters. In particular, Diane Warren, who won Grammy awards and Oscar nominations and penned songs for great stars such as Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Christina Agulera, Celin Dione, Dianna Ross and many others.

Other songwriters on the album include fellow-Americans Gordon Pogoda, Jeff Silbar, Bob Martinez, Tom Daniels Norman Saleet and Gloria Sklerov, The Paelinck brothers from Belgium who have contributed a lot to Chiara's career, Sweden's Anders Dannvik, Joakim Nilsson and Lena Olsson Bjorken who have also written for many well-known artists, and of course Chiara herself with her hit single Angel that brought success on the final night in Kyiv.

I am really thrilled about this new album. We have been working on it for the past two years and finally it has become a reality,” says a beaming Chiara. “All the songs are very special to me, each one in its own way. I just can't wait to share these experiences with as many people as possible. I would also like to thank all the people that have worked so hard to help me arrive where I am today. With their undying support through these years, none of this would have been possible.

Chiara will also be performing a selection of songs from her new album on the Main Stage at the Farsons Great Beer Festival in Malta on Sunday 31st July. The show starts at 21:00 CET. She will also be signing copies of her new album Here I am on the Vodafone Stand after her performance. Chiara's album will be available in all leading music stores in Malta from next Tuesday.
