The former Eurovision Song Contest winners Johnny Logan and Katrina Leskanich, together with the most recent Flemish Belgian representatives Sergio and Xandee, will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Eurovision Song Contest with a joint concert in Beringen (Belgium) on Saturday 23rd July.
At the fifth edition of Magic Mine Ventura, an open-air concert held at the mine site of the Flemish village of Beringen, the former Eurovision Song Contest representatives will be giving an overview of 50 years of Eurovision Song Contests. Johnny Logan, Katrina Leskanich, Sergio and Xandee will be accompanied by the renowned Heverband orchestra.
Johnny Logan won the Eurovision Song Contest as a singer in 1980 and 1987. Both his entries, What's another year and Hold me now, have been selected to take part in the special contest among 14 songs to be organised during the Eurovision Song Contest's 50th anniversary show Congratulations in October.
Katrina Leskanich won the contest for the United Kingdom together with the Waves in 1997. Sergio and Xandee, formerly known as Touch of Joy (pictured), represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest solo, respectively in 2002 and 2004.
Saturday's Magic Mine Ventura at the mine site of Beringen opens its doors at 19:00 CET. Tickets cost � 20.
