Out of 44 submitted songs, 10 songs have been selected to take part in the Latvian national selection for the 2005 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Broadcaster LTV today announced song titles and the names of the finalists.
These are the ten finalists in Latvia:

* Arturs Toms Pless from Bauska is the backup entry with the song Tālu projām (Far away).
The Latvian national final takes place on 17th September in Ventspils, which also is the location for the national Eurovision Song Contest selections Eirodziesma. Last year, the Latvian representatives Martins and his friends from C-Stones Juniors ended shared last with only 3 points.
