Turkish broadcaster TRT has started an investigation after the sound problems that occured during Gülseren's performance in the final of the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest.
“TRT is aware of the technical problems which occured during the performance of the Turkish song which could be heard all over Europe,” Berna Batmaz of TRT reacted to esctoday.com. After one minute, Gülseren's song Rimi rimi ley suddenly got mixed with the Moldovan entry Boonika bate toba during 25 seconds.
Officials of Turkish broadcaster TRT are currently investigating the matter. “When the investigation is over, we will appeal to the relevant bodies according to the result of the investigation,” TRT concludes.
Turkish representative Gülseren finished 13th in the final of the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest.
