Ever since televoting and the quick reprise of songs were introduced in 1997, songs have been repeated in the same order in which they were performed. This year the reprise will be in reverse order.
Ms Christine Marchal, Head of the EBU Eurovision Song Contest Department, today stated that the song reprise shall be in reverse order this year.
This is to ensure that more people remember more songs.
Especially people in the UK*, which is to sing as number two, are thrilled. According to UK citizens, their entry is most likely to be forgotten once the remaining twenty-two songs have been played.
