An exhibition of photographs under the title 'We, the people of Eurovision' was opened in the ground hall of the Sports Palace on. The main aim of the exhibition is to present a collection of portrait-type pictures from each of the Eurovision Song Contest participating countries.

The name of the exhibition 'We, the people of Eurovision' is based on the well-known words from the 1st chapter of the UN Charter, which begins with the words 'We, the peoples of the world'.

By organizing the exhibition, its initiators, CFC Consulting and NTU, aim at promoting the role of the Eurovision Song Contest in uniting the European nations. In order to promote the unity between all of the Eurovision Song Contest participating states, the photograph displays in the Sports Palace will feature a series of large-size photographs depicting faces of people from different European countries, each with their own national flavour yet united in their diversity.

During the remaining days of the Eurovision Song Contest the photographs will remain on display in the Sports Palace and will later be evaluated by the heads of delegations and the Eurovision Song Contest participants themselves to determine the best exhibit.
