Portuguese delegation: 'Conspiracy against Portugal'

After two rehearsals of the Portuguese song, the technical features for the Portuguese performance on stage still don't meet with the Portuguese delegation's request. José da Ponte, one of the authors of Amar, has protested against the way lights and camera are used.

The situation was already reported to Portuguese broadcaster RTP and is triggering some tension among the Portuguese delegation and the Swedish team responsible for the production of this year's Eurovision Song Contest.

On the other hand, the Portuguese delegates suspect a kind of conspiracy against the Portuguese song and warn for action if the Portuguese song won't be given the same quality as the other songs are getting.

Portugal will take part in the semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest to be held on Thursday 19th May.
