This year’s Belarusian representative, Alyona Lanskaya has announced she is currently recording new songs in London.

Alyona recently announced that she was at the famous Abbey Road studio in London, recording new songs with a renowned vocal coach, Kim Chandler.

The Belarusian public selected Alyona and her song Rhythm of love through Eurofest, their national final, which was held on 7 December 2012. However, there has been much speculation from  fans that the Belarusian broadcaster, BTRC,  will change their song, as they have done in previous years. The broadcaster recently announced that the song will most likely be changed, and Alyona is also saying on her Facebook that the song going to Malmö will be one of the ones recorded in London.

You can keep track of Alyona’s time in London and all other news regarding Belarus’ participation in Malmö through Alyona Lanskaya’s official Facebook page here.

Belarus will compete in the second half of the first semi-final on the 14 May 2013.
