The Greek national final has been scheduled for the 18 February and the official song presentation will take place on Monday 4 February in Athens at 8 CET.

The official presentation of the four songs aspiring to represent Greece in the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest will be presented to the public on Monday together with their videos which were shot this week.

MAD TV, who are sponsoring the Greek entry this year, promise a spectacular national final with many surprise guests according to local media. Five Eurovision winners will fly to Athens to sing in duets with popular local artists. More specifically, Helena Paparizou (Greece 2005) will sing with Melisses (Greek NF 2010), Alexander Rybak (Norway 2009) together with Kostas Martakis (Greek NF 2008), Ruslana (Ukraine 2004) with Eleni Foureira, Dima Bilan (Russia 2008) with Demy and Marija Serifovic (Serbia 2007) with the band Vegas.

The four participants are:

Thomai Apergi ( Panik Records) with an uptempo dance song with jazz influences.  The song will not be in Greek and it is written by Yiorgos Gkekas and penned by Agis Nikolakopoulos..

Aggeliki Iliadi (Platinum Records) with a slow tsifteteli song (traditional Turkish and Balkan rhythm) in Greek written by Kyriakos Papadopoulos and penned by Elias Philippou.

Alex Leon ft Giorgina (Panik Records) with a song composed by Alex Leon and penned by RiskyKidd.

Koza Mostra ft Agathonas (Platinum Records) with a song by Elias Mostras which combines  traditional Greek sounds with western elements, the song will be in Greek.
