With less than two weeks to go before the commercial release of the United Kingdom's 2005 Eurovision Song Contest entry, Javine's Touch my fire is storming up the airplay charts in her home country.

Touch my fire climbed from 339 to 39 on the TV airplay charts last week and this week has moved into the top 20, hitting 19th place. Javine is also the highest climber in the Commercial Pop Top 30, rising thirteen places to number 4, and climbs from 59 to 25 on the Upfront Club chart.

There is a good chance that Touch my fire will go on to be a smash hit upon its release, and is being tipped to become the most commercially successful United Kingdom entry since the country won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1997 with Katrina and the Waves' Love shine a light. The song is already establishing itself in British nightclubs and could become one of the big summer anthems on the famous London clubbing scene.

Javine will participate in the Eurovision Song Contest final on May 21st in Kiev.
