Next week, Jalisse will be releasing a new CD single of Fiumi di parole on the German music market. With this song they finished fourth for Italy at the 1997 Eurovision Song Contest. Alessandra Drusian and Fabio Ricci, together Jalisse, were the last Italian representatives at the Eurovision Song Contest.
The new CD single of Fiumi di parole will incude four songs: the new and the original version of Fiumi di parole, 6 desiderio and 6 desidance. At the end of May, Jalisse will also be releasing a new album, entitled Siedi e ascolta.
The album Siedi e ascolta will be including some songs from their previous album Il cerchio magico del mondo, some new songs and the song Rios de palabras, the Spanish version of Fiumi di parole, written by Heriberto Noppeney. Furthermore the album will include a duet with the Spanish artist Mone. The booklet of the album will be written by the Iraqi poet Younis Tawfik.
With Fiumi di parole, Jalisse finished fourth at the 1997 Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin, Ireland.
