Cypriot representative Constantinos Christoforou visited Andorra today. Constantinos was interviewed in Diagonal, a television show on Andorra Televisió. Tomorrow, Constantinos will be arriving in London for three days of promotion.

Constantinos greeted the Andorran audience by speaking a few words in Catalan. The Cypriot singer explained that his Eurovision Song Contest entry has ethnical rhythms because that style is very popular in Cyprus and because that is the kind of music he likes to write. Constantinos is convinced that Ela ela would also sound beautiful in the Catalan language and invited the host of Diagonal to send him a Catalan version of the lyrics so he can record Vine vine.

The host of Diagonal referred to Constantinos' two previous Eurovision Song Contest participations and told he is looking more handsome than ever before. “Beauty is important in the music business,” reacted Constantinos. “But above all you also need talent and a good voice. It's like a puzzle.”

Constantinos also talked about the Andorran representative who recently visited Cyprus. “Marian van de Wal is a very sweet girl,” he said and added that she gives a very good impression and transmits a lot of energy. Constantinos compared Andorra with Cyprus. “We have lots of things in common like the Mediterranean temperament and we are both small European states.” Constantinos believes that Andorra will probably reach the final and wishes that the small countries will reach a good position and help eachother.

Tomorrow Constantinos will be arriving in London for three days of promotion in the United Kingdom.
