Two tourist information spots in Kyiv

The Ukrainian State Tourism Administration, the National Tourist Organization and the Shevchenko District Administration decided to set up two information spots for tourists and city guests at the Independence Square and Sofiyska Square.

Both stands will be available from 11th May up to the end of the Eurovision Song Contest. Yeugen Samartsev, deputy head of the State Tourism Administration, said at a press conference.

At these stands, it will be possible to obtain city maps and booklets about Ukraine and its capital for free. Merchandising for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest will also available for purchase. Meanwhile, an information stand will be available in each official contest hotel too.

While free guided tours through Kyiv will take place for locals ánd tourists, Samartsev added that the idea to set up electronic informational posts during the contest had to be cancelled due to financial restrictions.
