The Norwegian representatives Wig Wam visited Stockholm last weekend in an effort to convince their neighbours in Sweden to vote for the Norwegian entry In my dreams. Wig Wam openly criticise their Swedish competitor Martin Stenmarck.

His song is not good and we have more chances of getting the popular support,” Wig Wam told the Swedish media about Marin Stenmarck's song. “Martin Stenmarck went to Las Vegas to shoot a video and performed at an exclusive concert in London. We instead are trying to keep it simple, under all glamour we are just ordinary and nice,” Wig Wam continues the criticism. “Martin Stenmarck has lost his rock 'n roll feeling.

Dressed in their typical outfits, Wig Wam explored Stockholm and spontaneously performed on top of the Svampen sculpture. Wig Wam found their initiative of visiting Stockholm very effective. “We have earned so many Swedish votes here today! They love us!” However, their visit to the Swedish capital ended when they were thrown out of Kingsgarden park as they did not have permission for handing out Wig Wam promotional material.

Wig Wam's next international trip will bring them to Romania where several concerts and TV appearances are scheduled. On 19th May Wig Wam will be taking part in the semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest with the song In my dreams.
