Cypriot singer Alexandros Panayi will accompany Helena Paparizou on stage of the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest. The singer who represented Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1995 and 2000 will see for the backing vocals of My number one, this year's Greek entry.
Alexandros Panayi made his first appearance for Cyprus at the 1995 Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin. With the song Sti fotia he finished 9th. Five year's later in 2000, Panayi represented Cyprus for the second time. Together with Christina Argyri he entered the stage as Voice. Singing Nomiza, Voice finished 21st.
Alexandros Panayi will see for the main backing vocals of the Greek entry My number one, to be performed by Helena Paparizou. Also the dancers to accompany Helena Paparizou on stage in the final of the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest will vocally support the song.
