MTVA, the Hungarian national broadcaster has revealed more details on their 2013 Eurovision national selection A Dal.

In the three heats, which will be aired on 2, 9 and 16 February, a total of 30 songs will compete, 10 in each heat. The special panel of judges which consisting of  five people will choose three out of the ten songs. Then the  public will get the chance to vote for their favourite songs, hence they will choose three more songs out  of the remaining seven songs. Therefore,a total of 18 songs will proceed to the semi-finals.

The two semi-finals, will take place on 23 and 24 February.A total of 9 songs will  compete in each semifinal, 4 entries will qualify for the final ( 2 via jury deliberation/ 2 via public televoting). Hence a t total of 8 songs will compete for the golden ticket to Malmo at the 2013 Hungarian national final A Dal scheduled to be held in Budapest on 2 March.

On the final night, the judges will choose their 4 most favourite song, and televote will choose the winner of this four songs.

Moreover, the band named Egy másik zenekar was disqualified, due to having their song available before 1 September. The band is replaced with Laura Cserepes, with her song Élj pont úgy.
