On Tuesday 17th May the Nordic countries Iceland, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden will be teaming up with Ireland in order to put their Eurovision Song Contest entries in the spotlight. A joint party will be held at the EuroClub in Kyiv.
Following last year's successful 'poolparty' in Istanbul, the Nordic countries have decided to organise a party together once again. Surprisingly, Ireland will be joining the Northern Europeans in their party efforts.
The representatives from Iceland (Selma), Denmark (Jakob Sveistrup), Finland (Geir Rönning), Norway (Wig Wam), Sweden (Martin Stenmarck) and Ireland (Donna & Joseph McCaul) will be singing unplugged versions of their entries, giving press and fans a unique chance to hear their favourites in a different way before the competition really begins.
All accredited people are invited to attend the party. The party will be held on Tuesday 17th May between 18:00 and 20:00 local time. Place to be is the restaurant at the first floor of the EuroClub in Kyiv, the official meeting place for this year's delegations, press and Eurovision Song Contest fans.
As we reported yesterday on esctoday.com, the same evening starting at 21:00, the 'big three' nations France, the United Kingdom and Spain will be holding their joint Unplugged 2 party in the same EuroClub at a higer floor.
