ORF, the Austrian national broadcaster has informed esctoday.com that a special press conference will be held on Monday 14 January at the Saturn Tower, Donau City in Vienna at 10.30 CET, in order to reveal the 5 potential entries that will compete at the 2013 Austrian national final.

Austrian media will get the chance to meet and greet the 5 candidates: Yela, Natalia Kelly, The Bandaloop,Elija and Falco Luneau, and will be able to listen to the 5 competing entries. The 5 acts will not perform their respective songs at the press conference.

The 2013 Austrian national final will be held on 15 February in Vienna, and will be streamed live on ORF”s official website.

Austria debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1957 and has won the event in 1966 with Udo Jurgen’s Merci, Chérie.
