Willeke Alberti, who represented the Netherlands at the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest with Waar is de zon, received the Radio 2 & Conamus Broadcasting Time Award as a tribute to her career.
Alberti is the first woman to receive the prize, which so far has only been awarded to men. As a tribute to her national success, popular Dutch artists and the Metropole Orchestra performed her greatest hits.
Until 3rd of April it's possible to bid on Willeke's Eurovision Song Contest dress here. Unfortunately for Willeke, she ended up 23rd with Waar is de zon. Only the Austrian jury awarded her ballad with four points.
