The song If I had your love was composed by Þorvaldur Bjarni Þorvaldsson and Vignir Snær Vigfússon. Þorvaldur and Selma joined forces back in 1999 with the song All out of luck which got Iceland their best Eurovision Song Contest posistion to date (second place).

The making of the video will be aired on 16th March during the show Óp. The video and song will be premiered on 19th March in Gísli Marteinn's Live Saturnight Night Show. Due to last year's disappointing result, Iceland has to join the semifinal participants on 19th May in Kiev, Ukraine.
