Today sees the first screening of the annual look back at the year gone on Swedish TV.

Sveriges Television (SVT), the Swedish public service television company has complied an hour-long documentary entitled Melodifestivalen 2012 – Vägen till Baku (The road to Baku) and it will air on SVT channels from tonight.

It will be on SVT1 at 20.00 CET tonight, and also on SVT World. It will be repeated on 18 and 22 December both on SVT1 and SVT24.

The director of the show is award winning Anders Beward and he promises agood amount of behind the scenes footage from the year when Sweden romped to victory at the Eurovision Song Contest.

The show will look at the whole journey of Loreen from the Melodifestivalen (the Swedish national final tour) early stages to the winning night in Baku. The show will also look to the future and talk to the hosts of 2013 Melodifestivalen.

The show will be available to view after the first transmission on the SVT Eurovision site via SVT Play.
