The third heat of Melodifestivalen 2005 has taken place in the city of Skellefteå tonight. Jimmy Jansson (pictured) and Martin Stenmarck have qualified for the final, while NaNa and LaGaylia proceed to the second chance round and still have the possibility to reach the final.
Televoting decided the five songs that proceeded to the second voting round. After that the lines were reopened for televoting. In order to keep the excitement, the individual ranking between the first and second place are not revealed neither the ranking between the third and fourth place.

Hosts tonight were Johanna Westman and the artist and comedian Marko “Markoolio” Lehtosalo. The former Melodifestivalen winners and representatives for Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest: Roger Pontare and Nina & Kim (former members of the group Friends) entertained in one of the interval acts.
The next semifinal of Melodifestivalen 2005 takes place next Saturday, on 5th March, in Växjö. There we will see Katrina Leskanich as one of the participants. The second chance round takes place on 6th of March. The final take place on 12th March in Stockholm's Globen Arena.
